LEIGH M. CLARK, Supernumerary Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment convicting appellant-defendant of murder in the first degree and sentencing him to life imprisonment in the penitentiary, in accordance with a jury verdict.

The State’s witnesses as to the circumstances of the killing were Stanley Walker, a son of the victim, and Martin Madison, 16 years of age at the time of the trial.
