Appellee recovered a verdict and judgment upon a policy of insurance. He averred in his declaration that on December 22, 1925, appellant issued a policy of insurance in words and figures as follows: “Metropolitan Life Insurance Company hereby insures the life of Kunegunda Tykalowicz, herein called the insured, in accordance with the terms of this policy, No. 4571953C; and promises to pay at its home office in the City of New York, One Thousand Dollars to Ludwig Tykalowiez, husband, beneficiary, upon receipt of due proof of the…
