Alfred W. Foster, of Sag Harbor, Suffolk county, the paternal uncle of the minor, applies for letters of guardianship, and the application is resisted by the maternal grandmother of the child, who resides"in this city. The minor is a girl about ten years old, and possessed of no property, except a few hundred dollars in the savings-bank.
