The objects of this suit, so far as they concern the appellants, were, —
1st, To obtain the distribution of the fund arising from the sale of furniture and other personal property in use in the Metropolitan Hotel, in the city of New York, at the commencement of the proceedings in bankruptcy. . The Lelands were lessees of that hotel under a written lease from A. T. Stewart, 'dated April 30, 1867, for a term of four years thereafter, at an annual rent of 179,186, payable in equal monthly instalments.
