Rinando Tucker (defendant) was charged with two counts of first-degree murder (720 ILCS 5/9 — 1(a)(1) (West 1996)) in connection with the shooting deaths of Martin (Marty) and Judith (Judy) Dotson. After a jury trial, defendant was found guilty on both counts. Defendant was sentenced to natural life in prison.
