Defendant, Farm Bureau General Insurance Company of Michigan (Farm Bureau), appeals as of right the denial of its motion for summary disposition of plaintiffs underinsured motorist claim on the ground that the one-year contractual limitations period in the insurance policy barred plaintiffs action. We affirm.
Plaintiff sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident involving her mother’s vehicle when she was 15 years old. It is undisputed that plaintiff was an insured under an underinsured motorist (UIM) insurance policy. That policy contained the following provisions: “No action can be…
