Out of Upson County comes the case sub judice involving appellant Ronald Davis; his son, appellant Danny Davis; and their company, appellant Ronald Davis Logging Company, Inc. Appellants were charged in a single indictment with numerous offenses of theft by taking and conspiracy to commit theft by taking through various alleged schemes to defraud landowners and lumber companies of timber and monies.
