The village of Hannaford was, in the spring of 1907, organized as a special school district. In May, 1907, a petition was presented to the Hannaford board of education, praying that certain territory adjacent to Hannaford be annexed -to the Hannaford special school district. The Hannaford school board accepted the petition, and adopted a resolution attaching the territory in question to their district, under the provisions of § 949, Eevised Codes 1905.
