Error to the District Court of Philadelphia: Of July Term 1874, No. 1864. This was an action of ejectment, commenced October 28th 1871, by Theodore Barrett, trustee, &c., of Lauretta E. Root, against Alfred Bamber,.for a house and lot on Sixth street in the Second ward, Philadelphia. By. deed dated the 31st of August 1836, Andrew Cochran and Hugh Stevenson conveyed the premises in dispute to James ‘ Kitchen, reserving to the grantors a ground-rent of $56 per annum.
