The defendant was indicted and convicted of assault with intent to murder and sentenced to ten years in the state penitentiary.
The State's evidence was sufficient to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the defendant was guilty as charged. Around 8:30 on the evening of March 27, 1978, the defendant drove to the residence of Larry G. Brakefield in Jefferson County.
