In December 2016, a Tift County jury found Timmy Leroy Thompson guilty of felony murder in connection with the death of his wife, Peggy Thompson.1 Thompson appeals, contending that the trial court erred (1) by allowing improper testimony regarding other alleged acts of violence committed by Thompson against his stepdaughter, stepson, and daughter to be admitted at trial, and (2) by not applying the rule of sequestration to these other acts witnesses.
