This is a suit in equity to foreclose a mortgage on certain real property in Douglas County. The amount of the note secured by said mortgage is $1,450, due October 1, 1885. The note was originally payable to one Harrison Allen; but plaintiff alleges that on the twenty-fourth day of October, 1885, he purchased the same for a valuable consideration, and that said Allen indorsed and delivered said note and mortgage to him.
