¶ 1. Ronald D. Luttrell appeals, pursuant to our leave, the circuit court's non-final order denying his motion for a competency evaluation under Wis. Stat. § 971.14. We affirm.

¶ 2. In June of 1984, the State charged Luttrell with first-degree murder, carrying a concealed weapon, battery during a burglary, armed robbery, and first-degree sexual assault, all as an habitual criminal.
