In 2005, Appellant Enrique Martinez 'was determined to be a sexually violent predator pursuant to Chapter 841 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, and was thereafter made the subject of a civil commitment order that included various supervision requirements mandated by the Code at the time. In 2012, Appellant was found guilty of violating two of his supervision requirements. Appellant appealed his conviction.
