This dispute over an attorney fee agreement went to trial, and a jury returned a verdict in favor of the law firm in the amount of $160,000. The clients appeal and contend the trial court erred (1) by denying their motion for directed verdict on the ground that an amendment to the fee agreement was not enforceable because it lacked consideration; (2) by failing to instruct the jury that the amendment lacked consideration; and (3) by instructing the jury that consideration couldbe foundbased on the clients’ subsequent actions.
