These appeals are from judgments of the District Court of the Virgin Islands of the United States for the Sub-Judicial District of St. Thomas and St. John. Clen v. Jorgensen (C.C.A.3d 1920), 1 V.I. 497, 265 Fed. 120; Soto v. United States (C.C.A.3d 1921), 1 V.I. 536, 273 Fed. 628. The first was entered in a proceeding for criminal libel; the second in a proceeding for contempt of court.
