I. INTRODUCTION
This medical malpractice action was brought against Appellant, Dr. H. Chaney Aderholt (“Aderholt”), Dr. R.B. Kent, III, and Dr. Richard Stahl, asserting negligence in the treatment of.plaintiff/appellee Harold T. McCormick (“Plaintiff/McCormick”). 1 The jury rendered a verdict in favor of the plaintiff, and the district court entered judgment in accordance with the verdict on April 23, 2001.
