This is an article 78 of the Civil Practice Act proceeding whereby petitioner, a former employee of the Division of Standards and Purchase of the State of New York, seeks an order of the court directing respondent to reinstate him to the position of senior surplus food inspector, together with all back salary and interest from the date of his discharge.
