The alleged defamatory article gives the following facts: The plaintiff was employed in the Bureau of Education of the national government at Washington for several years under the title of “ Specialist in Education as a Preventative of Pauperism and Chime ”. He published a personal advertisement in newspapers that a gentleman of high social and university position desir,ed correspondence with young educated women of high social and financial position, and that they must give detailed accounts of their lives.
