STAYTOÍT, Chief Justice.
—This is an action of trespass to try title, brought by W. A. Huffman against Sam Evans and the other defendants, to recover an undivided half interest in block 29 in the city of Fort Worth. The other defendants claim through conveyances from Sam Evans.
About August 23, 1871, Evans conveyed the block to Giles F. Parman, reserving in the face of the deed a lien for the purchase money, which was wholly unpaid at the time deed was executed.
