Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this Court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Ulster County) to review a determination of respondent which revoked petitioner’s driver’s license.

Late one evening, petitioner was driving her automobile on Route 32 in the Town of Esopus, Ulster County, when an axle and tire came off. She left the vehicle in front of a private residence and began walking north on Route 32.
