Appellee filed a bill asking for a decree for separate maintenance by her husband, appellant. The court below found that she was entitled to a separate maintenance, and entered a decree upon such finding. At the same time the cause was referred to a master in chancery to take testimony on the question of alimony and report with his conclusions.

On May 7, 1892, an appeal was taken by defendant from such decree to this court.
