Archibald and others named in the petition, copartners trading as Lancaster Products Company, sued appellant Southern Forwarding Company, a Texas warehouse corporation, as principal, and appellant Indemnity Insur- anee Company of North America, a corporation, as surety, on account of a bond conditioned that the principal therein would “faithfully perform its duty as a public warehouseman, in accordance with the law,” to recover the sum of $060, alleged to have been collected by such principal, and wrongfully appropriated to its own use and benefit, said sum of money…
