The only question for decision in this ease relates to the rate of interest which the auditor of state is required to demand upon loans of the “ university fund.” The law under which the State University was established provides that the university fund shall consist of certain lands in Monroe and Gibson counties, and the proceeds of sales thereof, and all donations for the use of the university, when the same is expressly mentioned in the grant, or where in such grant the term “university” only is used.
