BENCH, Senior Judge:

11 Jaime Ramirez-Gil appeals the district court's summary judgment ruling denying his petition for post-conviction relief We affirm.

BACKGROUND

T2 Petitioner was a legal permanent resident of the United States and had been residing in this country since emigrating from Mexico in 1969. In 2012, Petitioner was taken into custody for stalking and vari*1230ous protective order violations,. He agreed to a plea deal and entered a guilty plea to one count of third-degree-felony stalking.
