The F. W. Dodge Company, appellant, was engaged in the business of securing information in regard to building operations and construction enterprises contemplated or in progress and furnishing it to subscribers to its reports. This information was obtained through canvassers or agents, and reported to the office of the company. George C. Eagle, manager of the Philadelphia office, at the trial of this case in the Circuit Court for Harford County, testified that as manager of that office he had charge of the business of the company in the territory including Southern Pennsylvania, Southern New…
