*1084Petitioner was convicted in 1994 of the crime of robbery in the third degree and was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison. In 1996, he was convicted of robbery in the second degree and was sentenced to seven years in prison. In 2003, petitioner was convicted of yet another crime, that being attempted robbery in the second degree, and was sentenced to 12 years to life in prison. Notably, the sentencing court did not indicate the manner in which the 2003 sentence was to run vis-a-vis the undischarged earlier terms of imprisonment.
