—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Lipp, J.), rendered January 9, 1991, convicting him of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. By decision and order dated March 29, 1993, this Court remitted the matter to the Supreme Court, Kings County, to hear and report on the branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress physical evidence, and the appeal was held in abeyance in the interim (People v Johnson, 191 AD2d 709).
