Defendant, James Housby, appeals from a judgment of the Circuit Court of LaSalle County finding him guilty of the charge of burglary as a result of which he was sentenced to a term of from 3 to 9 years in the penitentiary. He was charged with the crimes of burglary and grand theft (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, pars. 19 — 1 and 16 — 1(a)).
