On May 16, 2008, the trial court issued judgment affirming the decision of the Director (Director) of the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) that plaintiff, Emergency Treatment, S.C., was required to pay unpaid employer contributions pursuant to the Illinois Unemployment Insurance Act (Act) (820 ILCS 405/100 et seq. (West 2006)). The Director concluded that certain individuals were employees of plaintiff.
