This case involves a collision between an automobile driven by defendant Joe Solomor Stokes with a motorcycle being operated by plaintiff Douglas Scott. Scott brought suit against Stokes for negligently causing or allowing his automobile to collide with Scott's motorcycle, and a jury awarded Scott $1 million as damages.
