This action was brought in the municipal court of the city of Eochester, and the summons therein was served upon the defendants outside of the corporate limits of that city, but in an adjoining town. Upon the return of the summons, the defendants appeared by their attorney, who objected to the jurisdiction of the court, upon the ground that such process was served outside of the city of Eochester.
