The original bill in this case was filed by the appellants, Crook and wife, on the 3rd of April 1854, against the heirs at law of Stewart Brown and Mary Lancaster. The original bill was filed by the appellants against the Browns and Lancasters, to enforce the performance of a contract for the sale of certain property in Baltimore, for which they allege the purchase money had been paid, and claiming a conveyance of the title from the defendants, as heirs of the vendors.
