Defendant and his attorney (“Appellants”) contest the trial court’s imposition of one thousand dollars in fines against them, which resulted from reciprocal motions for sanctions by the parties in the matter below. Appellants further submit the trial court erred in failing to cast plaintiffs counsel for sanctions as originally requested, and ask us to consider whether the trial court erred in finding Louisiana Code of Evidence Article 510 violates the Constitutions of the United States of America and the State of Louisiana.
