On November 13, 1894, an election was held in Wood-ford county upon the question of removing the county seat from Metamora to Eureka, at which election 2595 votes were cast in favor of such removal and 1960 votes were against it. On the next day, before the vote was canvassed, the original bill in this case to contest the election and enjoin the removal of the records was filed by appellants and a temporary injunction was granted.
