This lawsuit involves the sale of an allegedly defective “buffing” machine. Plaintiff Speakman Company (“Speak-man”), a Delaware corporation, manufactures plumbing supplies at a facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Defendant, The Harper Buffing Machine Company, Inc. (“Harper”), is a Connecticut corporation with its principal place of business in East Hartford, Connecticut.
