MEMORANDUM OPINION AND DETERMINATION OF ISSUES SUBMITTED UNDER PLAN OF REORGANIZATION

On August 26, 1982, Manville Forest Products Corporation, the above-captioned debtor (“MFPC”), filed a petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code (“the Code”). MFPC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Manville Corporation. It is a manufacturer of timber, paper, and other wood products.
