The recovery was on a policy of marine insurance issued by the defendant on the 13th of September, 1878, on the steamer Cleopatra, her tackle, apparel and furniture. She encountered an injury by striking upon a sunken reef on the 23d of October, 1878, while passing through what is called Douglas Channel, at the entrance to *582Cochran’s anchorage, near the harbor of Nassau.
