MEMORANDUM OPINION
STEPHEN A. STRIPP, Bankruptcy Judge.
This is the court’s decision on a motion by the debtors George and Susan Swanson (hereinafter the “debtors”) to compel payment of the debtors’ homestead exemption from the proceeds of the sale of the debtors’ real property and a cross-motion by the trustee to surcharge the debtors’ exemptions for misrepresentation and concealment of assets and to reimburse the estate for the debtors’ contempt.
