This is an original proceeding in this court commenced by the Honorable Fletcher Riley for a writ of mandamus to compel the defendants, as secretary, chairman, and member, respectively, of the State Election Board, to place his name on the primary election ballot as a candidate for the Democratic nomination for United States Senator at the July, 1948, primary election.
