Charles Carlisle is a tenured teacher with the Phenix City Board of Education (Board). He was promoted in 1982 to the position of principal of the Susie E. Allen Elementary School. On May 18, 1984, he was advised by the superintendent that the Board had approved his recommended transfer from the position of principal to the position of Assistant Coordinator of the Alternative Learning Center for the 1984-85 school year.
