Defendant Jessie West was convicted by a jury of carrying a concealed weapon, MCLA 750.227; MSA 28.424. He appeals as of right.

Defendant was arrested along with William Clark and a third individual when Inkster Police entered the men’s room of a local bár and observed three men engaged in the transfer of a white powder which appeared to be heroin. All three men were arrested and charged with possession of narcotics. At the moment of arrest the officers also observed the defendant lift a gun from his shoulder holster and drop it to the floor.
