On the 1st day of July, 1887, John G. Holland, as administrator of the estate of Mary J. Watkins, deceased, presented his petition to the probate court for leave to sell a tract of land for the payment of debts. So far as the petition disclosed, there was but one claim against the estate — a judgment rendered by the circuit court of White county in favor of Thomas J. Rogers.
