Tony Wendell Stephens was convicted of malice murder, felony murder, and two counts of aggravated assault in the handgun killing of Frank Isabell and the assault on Torrence Walker. He was sentenced to life in prison for the malice murder of Isabell and 20 years to run consecutively on the aggravated assault on Walker. He appeals from the denial of his motion for a new trial.
