MORRISON, Judge.
The offense is burglary; the punishment, 9 years.
L. B. Cook testified that his motor company building in the city of Pearsall was burglarized on the night of January 12,1949, and that the safe therein had been laid on its back and the door forced open.
Sheriff Dobbs testified that he, in company with Ranger White, secured custody of appellant at Conroe on March 29, 1949, brought him back to Pearsall in connection with his investigation of the above burglary, and that appellant made a written confession to him the following day.
