Plaintiff sues for a declaration that she is the “lawful wife” of defendant; for a judgment of divorce, with custody over their son and appropriate maintenance and child support, etc.; and for a declaration that she is the rightful owner of certain property in up-State New York. The parties have cohabited in New York from 1966 until 1981, allegedly as husband and wife.
