Edward Olsen, the operator of the grain elevator in Polo, Illinois, brought this action against Thomas and Loren Scholl, who are farmers, alleging breach of a series of written contracts by failure to deliver 8,800 bushels of soybeans. The trial court entered judgment on a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff assessing damages in the amount of *25,924.80.
