In October 1995, plaintiff and respondent Eastern Livestock Company, Inc., filed an action in the District Court for the Thirteenth Judicial District in Big Horn Comity against John O’Neal to recover amounts allegedly owing in connection with a cattle purchase by O’Neal. Eastern Livestock brought suit against O’Neal, alleging breach of contract and conversion. On January 9, 1997, the District Court entered judgment in favor of Eastern Livestock and against O’Neal in the amount of $18,000.
