On December 2, 2005, defendant Alexander Hall was indicted for one count of murder in the second degree (Penal Law § 125.25 [2]), four counts of assault in the first degree (Penal Law § 120.10 [3], [4]), and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (Penal Law § 265.03 [2]), allegedly-committed on October 12, 2005. Hall now seeks to suppress records obtained on November 4, 2005 by the District Attorney’s office through a grand jury subpoena issued by the Honorable Michael Ambrecht, on the ground that such subpoena was issued…
