Johnston, C. J.:

V. E. Creighton was prosecuted and convicted upon a charge of making false statements and reports to the bank commissioner as to the financial condition of the Traders State Bank of Arkansas City, of which he was president and managing officer, *419and also as to the value of certain assets in the bank. He appeals from the judgment of conviction and asserts that there was error in the rulings as to the sufficiency of the information in the admission' and effect of evidence and in the instructions given to the jury.
